What does the twin oil filter setup do?

Full flow filters (which is all most vehicles have), just remove rocks from the oil. Bypass filters (which is what the twin filter setup is), can remove much smaller particles, e.g. fine dust, fine wear metals, and even soot.Quote:

I will not be doing this I will be machining mine out of solid alloy to cut down weight (not that the car is light anyways)
Mounted turbo to adjust the orientation of the cartridge and compressor housing also to obtain measurements as to how long oil feed lines have to be when I order speedflow gear (planning on using the already drilled and tapped hole in the twin oil filter setup as turbo oil feed)
