Not of clearance, but you can see how shaved it is and it still makes contact occasionally.

I still have the gearbox out of the truck from when I did my conversion and it's only 3000kms old, so when Garry takes delivery of his box I will deffinately be checking it out in the flesh.
The shift kit looks fantastic. I can only imagine the hours you've put in so far..........top job mate.

Can see the drive flange seal in this pic. Exactly the same spot as it is in the original back cover plate.

Bolt on original LT85 transmission mount (Garry you don't get this bit, it's only for the picture)

    17.jpg

Bolt on the Diff lock linkage. Notice only one of the two mounting holes is utilised. The one fitted to my vehicle has a tab that uses both holes. I'm not convinced both are absolutely necessary so when building Garrys' I ummed and arghed whether to put it on.... thanks for volunteering to be the guinea pig Garry! It is a M8 tapped to 30mm in 25mm thick steel and is solid so there shouldn't be a problem - saying that the next batch of housings have the tab in built into the design (pics to follow...)

Notice the plug at the top front of the housing (just behind the lo/hi/diff lock assembly), this is the breather for the gearbox and uses the same fitting as the original LT85.

I'm looking forwards to seeing Garry fit this to his vehicle..........
