Actually looking back through my notes he said pick which diameter.

416.0 or

If you count the bolts, the Isuzu pattern isn't SAE #3. It is close in diameter, but the SAE pattern has bolts equi-spaced around. The Isuzu pattern has different bolt spacing.
Isuzu 4BD1 Bell-housings..

I just happen to have a truck with a 4BD1T and an Allison AT 545 sitting in my shed, it was converted by Detroit diesel back in 1987 and is still going strong.
They used an adapter for the bellhousing and bolted the flexplate to the manual flywheel. No pics for a while though as I'm stuck at work.

Ok here’s the deal, two options in regards to the housings;
1. Continue with weldments
Price will go up to take into account some process related costs I didn’t factor in.
2. Move to Aluminuim casting
I can maintain the current price, however would need at least 20 people to commit before I outlay to get this going – although these people who committed would get a discount.
And to show my appreciation to those that have joined in on funding the development of this conversion – those that have purchased a steel weldment version would be able to swap out to the Aluminium Housing for free if they so desired (in exchange for the return of their current housing).
In regards to the Shift Kit, once again, two options;
1. Stick with the current linkage kit – prices to go up as per same reasons as above.
2. Move to the replacement top cover plate that utilises the LT85 selector (Defender/County only so far)
I would need at least 20 people to commit to this before I develop this any further. For anyone that commits I will keep the price no more than what the current shift kit cost and if it actually works out cheaper I will pass that saving on.
Once developed, I would then offer the same swap out to those that already have a kit – although most likely at a fee.
As it isn’t developed far enough yet, I cannot confirm any prices.
Of course you could always rig up your own shift kit and I just supply housing/shaft.
Hi Sheldon,
Put me down for option 2 housing and option 2 shift kit if you can get the numbers otherwise I would be happy with the current options
