    How old is the unit and what were the terms of the warranty - 12 months? Was yours hardened?

    Warranty is just a statement that the supplier will come good on something no questions asked. Australian consumer law protection doesn't end with warranty, it is a case of how long should something reasonably last.

    Couldn't give a fat rats about the warranty on this, i did buy it a few years ago, but has only been going for a few months (3500km), i just want sheldons view on it and why he thinks it broke.
    I don't really care if i have to pay for a new redesigned shaft. I just don't want this to happen again.
    Am even thinking why its apart to rebuild ths gearbox and spare engine i have. Hey its only money😊

    It's all part of your hobby, just like to keep your hand in, take the odd thing apart and put it back together, improve it if you can.

    Good philosophy, keeps you sane (some may argue!)

    Exactly, but i'd like my hobby to be more reliable. I really don't want to succumb to having to go buy a toyota because my hobby is to unreliable 😊
