    Tony,

Be very careful buying anything from eBay Hong Kong or China. It all goes through the Hong Kong Post Office and they have recently introduced a scanning policy whereby EVERYTHING is now scanned. 'They' say it only adds a week to the shipping time but I am still waiting for stuff I bought at the start of September.

    From the eBay website:
Recently the Hong Kong Post announced that all items posted by air are now subject to x-ray screening for regulated materials. This additional screening may cause delays in shipment due to no fault of the seller, so if you purchased an item from a seller in Hong Kong, please allow extra time for delivery - at least a week more than the seller's stated delivery time. Also note that items containing the regulated materials are being returned directly to sellers and not delivered to the buyer. These items may include:

    • Items with lithium batteries such as video cameras, walkie talkies/2-way radios, GPS devices, radio-controlled toys, Bluetooth headsets, smartphones/mobiles, laptop computers, shavers, power drills, tablets and portable DVD players
    • Liquid beauty products, including fragrances, colognes, lotions, and toner
    • Items with "eliquids" such as electronic cigarettes and lighters

If you don't receive your item after waiting the additional week, please contact your seller. If your item was returned to the seller, you should receive a refund. If you have any problems please contact cutomer support. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Regards,
    The eBay Team

I have been buying photography gear from China, usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. I would expect that as they usually say "Free Delivery" so of cause the cheapest way for them is surface mail. They are not large items, things like lens filters, Sandisk cards etc. The largest item was a camera tripod.

I have Paypal, too, so I could get my money back but the principle of the whole thing is I have ordered something and I expect delivery. 6 weeks for a couple of cup holders is about 3 weeks too much. The seller keeps telling me it is the fault of the HK Post Office but I really don't believe them any more.

It is only $12 or $13 so that doesn't worry me - it's the delay.

I ordered some coffee capsules from Italy and they were here in a week.

I ordered a Watt-Meter from the UK and it was here in a week.

I'm just getting a bit wary of sellers in HK and China.

Jason, we have the body of a round air box should it be called air cylinder but not the end cap We will look, still we may find it. How hard would it be to make something up? Maybe get the bit from a wrecker?

Hi Mrs H I don't think I will need it anymore sorry for the trouble. I moved everything out of the way yesterday to put the battery in BUT the bloody battery doesn't fit in there its huge so I will just have to put it in the rear of the car.. Thanks for taking the time to look for me though..Again sorry,,.

The link didn't work for me.. But why a spare wheel cover for a series 3 .. You'll be called a YUPPY if ya put it on ...

Becarefull with your springs . There are some crap sellers around here for springs ,Trust me I know as ive brought so many. Just go Parabolics there not much more dollars & worth every bit..SWB paras are all 2 leaf packs . Dungog motors stock them & there not far from you..I think under a grand will get you 4 springs & 4 pro comp shocks.. I think I have a heap of polly bushes here for series . Actualy I think I have a full set .Will have a look.. If you are going to park it up for a while you can stretch them a little by putting the rear on stands , take the rear shocks off & put a bottle jack between the diff & chassis & jack em up to stretch .. Its not the best but it will get you out of trouble.. Also Dumbrells at Wallsend charge more then the price of a new spring just to reset one .. I was going to do that but after buying the paras I still saved money..
