I think what people do, because the ARB diff cover has its own drain plug, they weld up the existing drain and grind down 20-25mm off the bottom of the diff housing to gain more diff clearance.

Haven't fitted the cover yet to see what does/doesn't fit, or needs to be ground down.
Which bit are you saying can be ground down?
The idea of bolting through the housing occurred to me not long after the post was put up, so I think that will be what i'll do.
I'm just a little peeved that I wasn't able to get the job finished today.

Ah, I see. I don't think I'll bother. I'm already sick of lying under the truck with the smell of EP90!!!!!!
The parts scale says the bolts are 10mm, so I'll be off next week to buy some.
I must admit, I like the way Land Rover modified the rear chassis for the spare tyre - I've spent quite some time looking at it today and it is quite a work of art.

Gday, I did the Holland Track.
Paul
Busy weekend.
Installed ignition and door locks.
Put in a reverse camera
removed the blackout switch and wired in a power socket in place.
Installed a secondary electric box between the seats with 12 extra power lines and another 2 power sockets.
Put in a fire extinguisher.
Pro-Tip (Thanks Bad-Co for figuring this out)
If you remove your blackout switch you need to join wires 1 and 2 (brown) for your headlight function. you also need to join 5 and 6 (Green/purple) together for your brake lights to work.
Apparently this is the same dimmer switch, or can be used as such.
I did nothing on my perentie over the weekend!
Someone stole it from me and won't give it back until he fixes the exhaust on his RRc!
I did sort out the NATO plug issues on my SIII FFReddy and packed up the Haulmark for next weekend playing with tanks and pyrotechnics at Lithgow Ironfest!
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
