Put some rubber tube matting under the carpet/underlay in front foot wells. It should allow some air to get under there and keep soggy underlay off the metal.

    Went to change the oil.
sump leaking slightly at the front and flicking oil up onto belts. Not much, but enough to annoy!

Removed all sump bolts. Removed steering damper. Undid sway bar and dropped.
Went to move sump .. stuck. Got a screwdriver(which I don't like to do) wouldn't budge. Got a bigger screwdriver .. wouldn't budge! Tried the two screwdrivers together .. wouldn't budge.

Thought of taking to it with a blow torch .. I couldn't budge!

Bolted everything back up, chucked the oil in .. worry about it next service

No idea what goop they used on it, but bloody hell it sticks hard. Started to bend the metal rim of the sump instead of the sump pulling away from the block.

If your got a leak and getting soggy underlay then water will still sit there underneath and rust the floor. I take it you haven't found the source of the leak yet?
There are a few water ingress points on the D1.

The Dominator x has the standard sized mounting holes so pretty much any winch should fit

Nope. Rain water. Not sure where from. That underlay is a sponge that never dries and there's always a chance it'll get damp after a heavy rain. The tubing should help to ventilate so it can dry. In theory.
