putting in ome nitrocharger shocks after the raw shocks i had for only 5/6months were found to be bent and when taken out one fell apart.is any one running these in there LR and what do u think about them?
cheers mick
Have them in mine and they work ok. Am thinking of upgrading to 80 series/GQ shock combination to gain greater length and better rebound control though.
I've got them in my bus Mick. They are pretty firm but work well.
how much did you pick em up for mick, if you dont mind saying
You continue to use all the original lr mounting points.
On the front 80 series shocks bolt straight up. All you need to do is lift your turrets slightly so they dont bottom out.
On the rear you fit GQ shocks and usually weld an eye to the top of the shock so that it will fit.
Hi Mick,
looking at going down the OME track myself on all 4 corners of my D2 SLS no lift.... with a view to doing a 25mm lift down the track... so watching this with interest as looking to spend the limited funds wisely.

New :- D3 TDV6 2006 SE
Bullbar, traxide dual battery
General grabber ATs
Mitch hitch
Home made drawer and fridge system
Foldable UHF antenna on roof rail
I fitted a set of OME shocks and springs to my D2 and have put them to work over all sorts of terrain with different degrees of weight over the past 6 weeks and they have performed very well and without fault.
