I used large scotch pads cut to size on my D1, I believe they are the same as the D2

Not quite the same , the d1 plenum covers dont appear to have the same inbuilt mortality rate that d2's have aquired! :/

I replaced mine, bought it from Land Rover. I can't remember the cost but I'm sure it was a lot less than $29. I'll look for receipt tomorrow.

I got told something around $70 for mine at the local dealer.
Needless to say, I declined.

Yeah sorry, I just checked the d2 went to a one piece filter.

I think $30 was all I paid when I replaced mine. Got it off evil bay.
