Removed the EGR. Much smoother and a little more power. I'll do the other one once I've put the replacement engine in.

Towed the van from Hervey Bay to Coolum today. All good till the 3 amigos (+ general warning light ) showed up as we were bouncing along Cooroy- Noosa Rd.
Drove to work for the first time on the 265/75 MTRs. Nice. Good wet bitumen grip. Power seems pretty much unaffected, although perhaps a touch less peppy up hills in top gear. Very happy
Split a Trans cooler core in the radiator and had to be towed home with the wife's P38

Took the 1.4 ton Jayco Camper camping this weekend.
Could help but think - the D2 TD5 is sweet to drive & great to tow with
Introduced the D2 to the recently acquired D4. Can now park the D2 in front of the garage and do some long overdue stuff.<br>New stainless brake lines<br>Finish the Madman EMS install with oil pressure and transmission temp<br>Fit new, longer EGT probe for the EMS<br>Watts linkage<br>Find the front passenger footwell water leak<br>Tidy up the rear aux battery set up<br>Get another winch to replace the Aldi one which died from lack of use - might need it to recover the D4, or not...<br>Repair the left hand head light which took a hit from a tree<br>Probably more now that there's time to look and plug in the new Nanocom<br><br>No longer the daily drive for me but the kids love it and we are keeping it. It's still a joy to drive.<br><br><br><br><br>
