2 horns - Hi and Low note horns behind grillle and I recall another round shaped horn near the ABS module on my D2 I had. But I don'r think the one near th ABS produced the loud horn noise when mine used to go off.

I'd swear blid that when the alarm went off. The noise came from the two front horns. SOmething to check, I'll put it on the list.

    THE LIST
    Replace full flow oil filter
    Bleed brakes
    Change diff oils
Change gear box and transfer case oils
    Install reverse camera and monitor
Swap front ABS sensors from side to side
Change crush cans and replace slightly damaged bull bar with winch bar.
Install a centre bearing in the double cardan joint and finish front propshatft rebuild.
    Grease rear prop shaft
    Helicoil sump.
    Replace engine oil.
    Cut and polish headlights
Replace rear bumper bar trim on RHS
Resolve headligh switch issue (Freelander 2)
    Remove EGR cooler plumbing.
    Flush cooling system
    Replace radiator.
    Flush intercooler.
Listen to alarm horn? ha ha ha

    Cheers

BTW I have been told that the ABS and TC work in a less aggressive manner with the three amigos active. Is this true?

IIRC the alarm horn has it's own separate battery. so if the main battery is flat, the alarm horn will sound if needed.
