Me too, but it’s been good up until today. I’m hoping that I can do what Epic did, and ditch the stupid push on connections.

Ah, Beardmores. I’m a little wary of that crossing since the water came over the bonnet on my last try two years ago. I crossed it probably ten times prior and it was never so deep.
For your problem, I would check the belt tensioner, but nothing much to worry about I suspect. Maybe just a bit of thermal shock.

I'm home. Will survey the damage in daylight. RACV Total Care rocks. Car is on an unreg permit. Did they care? Tow home, NQA. Best insurance I've ever bought.
