New thermostat and hoses in and bled. All seems to be working fine!
A smarter man would have replaced the steering shaft uni with the new one he has sitting in the garage while he had all the room there to work but not me...
D2 was back to the bump stops and fault light on, this after a new airbag and sensor fitted over the last couple of weeks. Good Ole Nanocom was not much use, could not clear the fault that was displayed. Pumped up via the Schrader valves and went for a short drive.

Tried to clear it again and whilst the message disappeared the dash light remained on.
So went looking for a new assembly and sticker shock ONE OHHH ONE, these things are gold!!! LR3 and 4 rears are only around $70 whilst a D2 is around $4-500. Lucky to source one from the old dart 2nd hand for just under a $100 landed which if I cant solve it will no doubt be another spare in the big closet.

Finally got to install my Hunter di spares speedo corrector box.
Thank You Slunnie and Four loko for the pics and posts on this.
I was a bit iffy doing it as I did not see a definite guide for dummies on all colours mentioned etc what where.
I was just unsure in cutting the loom to an ECU hoping to do it right the first way round.
So, for me in the future or anyone else looking for this in the future.
The box has five cables.
Red -> +12 volts
Black -> ground
Blue -> to the wiring loom
White -> to the plug that goes to the SLABS ECU
Brown - not connected.
I ended up testing that 01111010 what Four loko used.
Didn't work for me
I ended up wth 11101010 and I could say the speedo is now 100% spot on.
The D2 I installed it in is a 2003 TD5 manual and has 285/75/16 Toyo open country M/T's.
Don't know if the ratios have been altered in diffs or transfer case.
Took around 7 or 8 test drives up to 80km/h to find the correct setting.
EDIT:
The morning after.
Did not want to start, and did not do a purge (I never remember to do it, I just crank again and again) and the amber ACE light was lit on the dash. So, I did not take the Bogeyman as I have plenty of driving and places to go today at work...
Will see about the issues later on today after work, for now, driving a 506k km driven mondeo instead, yuk.

		Hi Dervish!
May i ask if you could scan the Ratio column for Di Spare Box and send it to me or post it here?
Have to change my settings due to new tyres and can´t find the paper?
Thank you!

						SubscriberReplaced the intermediate shaft Uni as I suspected it might be a bit dicky (steering would occasionally grab on right turns and not re-center)
Fitted up some weathershields, Swivel recovery points (not sure how much I'd trust them but they look alright).
Also chucked in a cheapo kings 700m drawer to help organise the rear a bit. Had to do up most the bolts on it when arrived but wouldn't expect more from kings. (Couldn't justify 2k plus on a drawer setup like on my old D4)
