    More work

Well had a constructive day today. Replaced the turbo hoses, replaced the pressure hoses off the turbo controller, replaced the slads ABS modulator but had to take the whole lot off to get one of the bolts out. Changed it and had to re bleed the brakes so changed the fluid as a result. Fitted a turbo timer and a UHF unit. Big Day.

After finally getting some love and attention, new injector harness, new turbo hoses, then an oil change and filter, went to duck up the shop last night and no go. Dirty connector on the fuel filter was bringing up the "water in fuel"light.

    Orange Fuel light came on.

I have driven a bit more than normal over the past 2 weeks, only 10.1L/100k I think pumping up the tyres helped a bit.
Most of the driving is short distance, apart from one run to and from Ballarat.

While the car was parked at work it got covered with Lime and cement dust from a new sub division across the road from work
Said company paid for 25 cars to be detailed at work
Well my car was one of 5 to get get detailed on thursday and out of the 5 cars 3 ended up like they had been sanded as the paint had no shine what so ever and looked like it had been very lightly sanded
I bailed these guys up on the way out and said im not impressed with the job
They jump straight on the defence saying its a 4wd and been used as such yeah i say im not denying it has scratches but my paint has no shine what so ever
Turns out they clay blocked my car and did not polish it afterwards as it was not part the the contract with the company
My car is no show car as it gets used and abused but my paint was not this bad before they touched it
Turns out these detailers are going to cut and polish my car now out of good will
Wish i good name and shame these detailers as it is a national company but i wont .
I know they only did what was asked of them but hell if you cant do your job to a standard of normal satisfaction dont do it at all as it will come back and bite you on the ass
See Muppet **** happens to me and my car
    Well all good now
Dodgy brother`s returned today and cut and polished my car Wow totally different car and it shines way better than when i bought it even the bush pin stripping shines
Sorry no pic`s as it`s too dark and it`s raining so im guessing it wont look as good tomorrow

She's sat outside in the carpark at Panthers all day ... in the open !! (usually under cover) ... I might go visit her right now and make sure she's OK

It will probably be beading like crazy Chris
I drove to work in mine, towed 80+ lengths of 19' pvc on a very wide car trailer out to Wellington in a V8 cruiser, swapped the trailer over to the Hilux (currently 4500km overdue for a service and carrying half its GVM in mud), loaded it full of drill core and drove home, what a POS
Now I'm about to go pick up the Mrs in the Disco and take her out to dinner on account of me spending money in it
