Rolled into the driveway after a 5000km desert trip. One delaminated tyre and resultant damaged rear quarter panel and sill trim, one lost spotlight and rear diff centre rattled loose, all doors out of alignment. But jeez it ran well!

Had a puncture repaired this morning.
A bloody piece of wire!
Cracked on the hub ? Cracked on the wheel carrier is more the questioned point here
Personally in my opinion the way some and my self have done it by flipping it the only difference is instead of 2 studs at the top of the wc you have one .
In my honest opinion if the wheel is done up to torque to the flat surface of the carrier it should not be a problem and has not been a problem with many
Maybe what is the problem is too big diameter wheel tyre combo or torqued too tight could maybe cause a issue
Anyway im happy with my mod and will live with it with out a worry

SubscriberFitted a new reverse sensor speaker and all is working well. I also changed the fuel filter and found it had no water sensor (not sure if this is correct ) could not find any unconnected wires any where. (D2a 2004 Td5 S) on removing the wheel found the brake calliper was a little moist with what seams to be oil. I'm guessing from the axle which would mean the o ring is probably leaking just some else to fix ( I'm not complaining I like tinkering) loving the D2a should have got one years ago
