Took the jump and drilled the holes through the rear right bin for battery tray
Thanks to few members the holes were pretty much bang on for the seat mounts
Weld up a tray tomorrow or Monday

Finally took down the Bedouin tent which has been manifesting itself inside. Decided to go with a spray painted alternative as just don't care for another removal. After removal and stripping of parts (snapped only a few of the little plastic screw studs on the back of the cargo nets/rear aircon controls), I dry scrubbed the remaining orange cloth backing, then vacuumed the loose parts, washed with sugar soap, rinsed with water and left it hanging sideways in the workshop for a week.
I then sprayed a couple of coats of Rustoleum primer (ultracover version) and was going to coat with a dark grey/charcoal flat offering from Rustoleum but the differential surface appearance from the primer had me reaching for something with some texture. I settled on the Dulux Duramax granite effect using the grey primer as the base coat. Three coats later of granite effect and a reassemble and I'm pretty happy. I did get some crease marks on reinstall but not really noticeable and a heck of a lot safer than the diminishing driver view the tent was starting to cause!
Also injected some windsealant goo into the windscreen surround and appear to have solved the auto feet wash and roof lining soaking feature...
Looks great!
Is it noisier?

SubscriberBit of water pipe will help. Or maybe now the thing will be a rattle gun.
I broke a brand new Kingchrome whatever key on my son's Cordia Turbo head bolts with about a metre of water pipe and they replaced it under warranty!!
Regards Philip A
Good excuse to buy a rattle gun
