That is what it sounds like.I'll be going over all the earth connections and stuff next week, so hopefully that will sort things out.

Took Bluey for a run down the road. (After I sorted the auto problem by putting the transfer case into gear!). All went fairly well - got up to temp (90* by Nanocom), injectors seem pretty even. Sounds like the muffler may be a bit clogged up - it's got the Land Rover stamps in the metalwork, so it may even be the original. I'll look into changing that.
Towards the end of the trip, the dash suddenly lit up, with the 3 amigos, plus a few of their mates (HDC and SLS, etc). Didn't go into limp mode or anything like that. Right indicator wouldn't work. Pulled in the driveway and shut down. Voltage showing 13.8V (from alternator) Restarted, and everything back to normal.
Thought it may have been battery related, (the car sat in an auction yard for close to a year). I was planning to change the battery anyway, but I'll take it out and take it camping with us this weekend, and leave it on the solar panel for a couple of days. Nanocom doesn't show any critical faults. I'll be going over all the earth connections and stuff next week, so hopefully that will sort things out.

Yes. I used the one from super cheap on mine. Between the radiator and the bleed screw.

Bought an oil pump bolt and sump gasket for the weekend. What gasket sealant should I use ?

Most of the gasket is left dry. A couple of spots you can use any decent RTV silicon on (just don't overdo it)

I'll be doing the same job next week. Got a new bolt & gasket from Mario. Bolt has the thread locker on it.
I figured if it was going to come loose, it would've done it sometime in the 310K it's already covered, but then again, I'm a firm believer in O'Toole's Law, which categorically states that Murphy was an optimist!![]()

I replaced the window regulator. I'm kinda pleased with my self as I have a rotator cuff injury and the left arm is buggered.
The part from Roverlord was ordered on a Saturday and Arrived the following Tuesday. Good service.
The next job is to drop the front prop shaft, that should be fun.
