    Attempted to replace the engine mounts this afternoon.....defeated.
    Ran out of time and skill. Instructions were spot on but my talent was in sufficient, need a master to help this apprentice next time...
    Felt like I was close but really need a second person with some experience.... I had the RH side bolts undone but just was not going to get done in time...
    So had a beer as I put it back together What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

    Went really well, surprised the poo out of me only got stuck in really soft sand twice more driver error really. Ran 16psi all round

    Discovery 1 V8 1996 manual (gone)
    Various series Land Rovers before moving to OZ

    D2a Td5 Manual, Chawton White. aka "Daisy"
    Build date 11th Oct 2003
    Freelander 2 2011, manual, the daughter calls it Perri
    Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

    The VSR on my dual battery`s packed it in so not D2 or LR specific sorry
    More to do with RedArc crap
