I have a nice little glovebox in the cab of the boat that I put the keys in that keeps them watertight, The trouble is I often forget to take them out of my pocket after boarding the boat.
Sandwich bags do work well But I am usually in a hurry after launching the boat to park the truck and get back to the boat as fast as I can especially if I am doing a "Solo" launch.
It's good to know that IF I did inadvertently get the key wet I won't be stranded without the disco to drag the boat out when I get back to the boat ramp/beach

Thank the Gods that the disco keys are Not designed like an iPhone

I always have my little yellow Pelican case in my D2 and at the ramp my phone and car keys go into that in the car park and I take the case to the boat. I dont lock it away. Its waterproof, floats and is fairly high vis. If my tinny ever goes turtle that will likely get thrown clear or float up and I have my phone and car keys.

    Cheers
