Got 10L/100K's on the highway getting there and back., but a bit more on the tracks. It's day was up earlier and off to the location, sit still and provide shelter and charging for radio's and tablets (solar and 80aH Lithium). when all the cars had had there fun it is pack up time, 4Hrs to do 80Km from idling while clearing gate tags and signs to setting a respectable pace between points. Might need some new bump stops thou. Managed to fit the everything in, lucky i'm good at Tetris, shorter star pickets fit between the doors on the floor, the longer ones behind the back seat between the windows. Amazing how much space there is. Then travel back home at night avoiding the roo's for 3 1/2 hours. Only issue i have is the bulldust collects on the back door and sits there. Anyone tried deflectors or something?
I've heard the D2 version of the rear dust reflectors are now made of unobtainium. Never seen one advertised and I got mine (yes, they do help) from my neighbour when he was trading in his D2 many years ago.
