    SLS for the win!

I have put in my new Contitech air bag. The air stays in, mostly, there is a really slow leak, I'm guessing from the 4mm to 6mm adapter. When the 4mm Schrader valve arrives, I expect that the leak will go. I'll have a spare 4mm Schrader valve that I'll use to test repairs in the Contitech seals. I could end up with 3 spares!!

And now the fuel flap won't open and the windows don't work, although with them I can command them with the Nanocom.

I'll bet the BCM isn't plug and play.... If I can find one. Better check for water and bad earths first I guess. It's never just one gremlin, is it?

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, John, but did you have the ignition off when trying to open the filler flap?

I prefer my eggs cooked... and yes, ign off. Thing is driving me nuts. Right now I have to turn it on, insert the relay or a jumper so it starts, open the windows with the nanocom and select gears the old fashioned way. The fuel flap pulls open easily, which makes a mockery of the lock. Can't do anything much before Friday but I think I'll be pulling the BCM ☹️. I can't think of anything else that could cause all this weirdness..

Maybe I should gather up all the stuff I've posted and put it in a new thread.... SOS maybe.

My new to me D2a (in April) is back on the road, took 8 weekends to give the engine some much needed love, just raptor coated all the faded exterior plastics..... just leaves the interior to tidy up.

Yes. Even I can pick most of them.... Hobby, you understand. Had to do something during solitary confinement.

As for the car, I'm really hoping someone like sierrafery will come along and say that's the turbo encabulator, easy fix....

Anyway, tomorrow is set aside to try and unravel the many mysteries, which now includes the key only locking/unlocking the drivers door, while the dash button locks them all. I'm really hoping it's something as simple as a bad earth at the BCM, as I just remembered it has the "turbo encabulator delete" option.

Tipping that's tomorrow, and probably the next week, sorted.... well, it needs a tidy up.
