Well Des, I had to work in Byron Wednesday and Thursday last week.
It was a sea of humans everywhere, but the pubs we're doing the right thing, making people sign in and chaperoning them to their seats and tables.
On leaving at 15:00, a call came in for a bush/farm correctional facility, 130km away.
Perfect timing for new years eve.
Currently sitting in a plant room waiting fur a glass door freezer module to come down to temp after a defrost.
You'll love this, -30°/207psi suction temp.
Good old R744![]()

I'm trying to remember it myself.![]()
Happy new year to you all! Another one gone, and a year closer to retirement for some of us
Been down at Arrawarra for the last week or so,caught some good fish, although SWMBO has the record with a 38 cm Bream, out of the surf on our favourite bait a piece of prime steak.
I did help though,I rigged up the line.....Bloody egg beater,I am the Alvey side cast guy.
Got a heap of flathead, but all undersize or borderline so they lived for another day.
Had a few good hits at Red Rock off the rocks,on a lure that we call a spinner, but nothing landed.
Been some very good rain down here the last few days,we need it back home.
Anyway back to work next week I suppose
Oh,the dog decided to eat someone’s hook that had a prawn on it,anyway, long story short, dog is doing well, but or bank account balance has shrunk dramatically![]()
Good you've had some time away Paul and glad to hear the doggy is ok.
Look on the bright side Paul, you've got an extra hook in your tackle box.
Glad the dog survived and you got the bill, not me.![]()
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
