Absolutely, but the issue here, unfortunately, is not what Beale has done, for once, but what Pulver is willing to do to cover up other issues in Wallaby leadership group. The clamour for Beale's head in this, is just the result they want.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I think this might only be the tip of the ice berg. Maybe the Wallabies should spend some time with the Diamonds, they seem to have well and truly worked out how to dominate a Kiwi team.

Nobody denies Kurtley makes poor decisions, or to put it differently, is a complete cock. In this case though your article highlights one of many surrounding issues, which are clouded by McKenzies relationship with Patston. If he knew about the texts in June, then he's lying now. Simple as that. What chance that Patston didn't tell him about the texts when it happened, assuming they were 'involved'.

Add Pulvers complete inaction over the McKenzie -Patston relationship months ago, and you have, as you have said DM, a complete mess.

Who made Hooper Captain, is what should be asked. History suggests that NSW has a lot to answer for. A debate for another time. However, a shining light in Rugby was the 7's tournament at the Gold coast. Probably the best , in rugby skills & execution, I have seen, overall. This year, the top 4 at the end of the year, will automatically be at the next Olympics, in Brazil. The standard has lifted, a great deal. Not the least being the women's teams, from Canada & Australia, who played 3 demonstration games. These women played a better standard of rugby than more than a few men's teams. Great to watch. Bob

Agree re Sevens, and NZ got turned inside out by England.

Hoopers and player support for Beale may have less to do with a liking for Beale, than with a common enemy in Patston.
