While on creepy crawlies, anyone know what these are?
We have always had a few of them around but this year there are hundreds and hundreds of them of all sizes and inside where they have never been. Even the geckos won’t eat them..

Just pick them up and throw them outside. These things curl up for protection. Harmless critters

They used to cause big problems for the suburban trains in Adelaide, trying to climb up the hill to Belair. WHen crushed they make the track super slippery. They installed brushes in front of the wheels to flick them off the track.
Millipedes also stink like buggery when squashed. But weren't we originally talking about Centipedes?
I have always believed those to be poisonous. No not Earwigs, the big buggers.
YES/NO?
My Friend Wiki says this.
Australian Centipedes are carnivorous, feeding on a variety of small animals (including frogs and lizards!), but mainly insects. Larger Australian Centipedes can give a painful, but not life-threatening, bite. ... Although these legs look quite dangerous, the centipede bites with its powerful jaws.May 27, 2010
Also seems they can grow up to 30cm
