Holding back!!
Geez, I’d hate to hear what you’d say after a couple of pints of super (aka Swan Draught)

Explains why I haven't had any....[bigwhistle]
BTW, I don't touch VB or anything else from the huge breweries, so don't think I'm being parochial. Lots of fantastic micro breweries around. Couple over your way I like, such as Gage Roads. At my age I like a bit more from a beer than I used to.
I used to drink that stuff (VB), made me sick one Christmas when I was about 21, doctor said that he’d had a few young blokes who had the same symptoms, all common denominators pointed to the dreaded green stubby, he believed it wasn’t fully fermented before bottling
I’ve been on Coopers ever since
At the pub if they don’t have Coopers, I’ll have a super or wife basher
Getting older I tend to go for the mild but still enjoy the others when the wife’s out of view and I need a good nights sleep [emoji12][emoji12]
I've been to the place they make that rubbish. It isn't beer, which is brewed, it's a chemistry set, it just keeps rolling along. I won't touch it. If it's alcohol you want, well there's metho. Australia had a rep for brewing great beer, and back when Nino Culotta wrote "They're a Weird Mob" it may have been true. But all you have to do is find a Stella Artois from Belgium, and compare it to the stuff called Stella "brewed" here by CUB or whatever they call themselves now. The Belgian stuff is gorgeous, silky, creamy, great flavour and fabulous finish. The stuff made here is simply VB in a fancy bottle. At a fancy price.
Double post
Yep. Local bottlo occasionally gets the real stuff. I grab it when he does. He says it's random from the supplier. Peroni used to be made here as well. Had to check the label. But when Asahi bought Peroni they stopped that and import the real stuff, which I like as a refresher.
