There are usually a multitude of parked cars at one end due to the proximity to a large school. I drive a 110 and have no problems staying on my lane when driving past parked cars. Why do idiots think it is OK to drive into my lane when I am coming towards them just because they cannot drive past the parked car on their side of the street? Idiots! Gave one the benefit of the air horn and a smile when driving past them today when they got irate at me for not stopping to allow for their lack of driving ability.

Nuther way to **** a bunch of people off is to drive to the speed limit , especially fun when you drive a Volvo .

It must say somewhere in the Owner's Manual to do that as well as drive with headlights on.

Re giving way to traffic coming up the hill was always a Courtesy thing AFAIK

Easier to drive down a hill than up, in case of a Stall I suppose. I do that normally anyway.

Built for teachers, etc in the 70's............. the headlights came on with the ignition.

A photo was just posted in funny photos and I had to vent, but it really should've been here.

"Send me off to The Grumpy old Buggars thread, but it's a windscreen, not windshield. Grumpy old buggers thread

It's like 'Auto' or 'automaker' instead of car, or carmaker.
And don't start me on SUV for 4wd......

And yes, he's an Aussie journo writing in an Aussie publication"

In their favour the rest of the car world followed suit which was no bad thing. Unless one switches them off to save "Fuel" that is.

We all know that running with headlights on consumes a **** load of fuel driving the Alternator. Don't we?

    And few more.

Google constantly asks me to 'verify' a search because I use a VPN. Grumpy old buggers thread

And in that verification process label photos with pedestrian crossings as 'crosswalks'

The first time I was asked to label 'crosswalk' photos I was going to have to Google what that was.
Except I couldn't. Grumpy old buggers thread

I found that I can't send e-mails with VPN switched on. that's a pain in the freckle too.
    Cheers, Billy.

Grumbles eh? A man of my own heart. Well, just ask 'er indoors if you don't believe me.

Thanks, but VPN is showing off & has never been set up by me & it still is in it's "raw" state. Good thought though as I obviously don't know the history of this phone.
In saying that, I did have to clear a shed load of Blocked Calls to the previous owner although I thought the supplier would have done that.

As much as I digit explore this Bubble/Screen screen looking for concealed icons the more it confounds me, it does not move on.

What I need is an 8 year old Geek.

I don't know why Apple thought this screen was necessary, just to amuse or confuse the user I guess.

    Professionals my arse.

    EDIT.
Just back from a visit to our Financial Guru. "Praise to the Lord & the Money Lenders " & mentioned the phone problem to him as you do.

Feel a bit of a pillock actually because it seems I was hitting the Send Button much too hard. Touchy phones are these.

Do it softly & briefly & it works ok. Just like caressing a beautiful woman in fact.

Has worked quite ok but still damned if I know why Apple included that stupid Screen. It really serves no purpose whether the message shows "Loudly, Gently or as Invisible ink. It's a ****ing written message not the 1812 Overture." What is that all about ? It means a person cannot read it. Apple 0/10

Now to see if if it remains consistent. Fingys crossed.
