How can anyone, in particular world leaders, believe the numbers for China???

With Spain, Italy and USA all over 100,000 cases and given the way it has been reported that the Chinese grubberment stuffed up the early stages of this mess. I would suggest that Chinese cases would be in 100's of thousands and the deceased would be in the 10's of thousands.

They must be pressued to fess up about the seriousness of this thing they have released on the world!!! ALL information should be shared about symptoms, duration, treatments (that work and that don't), possible cures, ALL information. Now is not the time to be contemplating patents or calculating profit from any vaccine. ALL efforts should be collaborative around the world until this thing is beaten.
There was talk on the radio that, whilst no-one knows the true death rate from China,it may have been 40,000+.
    Pickles.

    will that treat coronavirus?
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The CSIRO is testing two potential vaccines.
Dr Grenfell said he was optimistic about the fight against COVID-19 but repeated that a vaccine was up to 18 months away.“The scientific ingenuity that we’re using, the global collaboration and co-operation is astounding,” he said.“We’ve seen some momentous science across many avenues of the vaccine development pathway globally, so yes, I’m optimistic.“At the moment, the best thing that we can all do is to maintain our social distancing and self-quarantining to minimise the spread whilst we’re waiting for effective drugs and vaccines.”

Its a theory I am willing to test based on a sound literature review (above) and self-funded research... If you get here soon you're guaranteed not to get the placebo.

The airlines aren't flying and countries have blocked entry, so how can thebackpackers go home?
The Chinese were certainly unprepared - who wasn't - but then they responded very effectively.

    I’m loving working from home...

    So far I’ve:

    Cleaned out the workshop
Fixed a couple of light fittings
    Done some house renovations
Mowed the largely neglected lawn and tidied the yard
Fitted some accessories to the Katana
Built a few custom gadgets for the LRs
Commenced my customisation of my M109R motorcycle
    Walked the dogs each day
    Finalised the house extension design
Ordered our new 12.4x6.8m garage for the wife of the house

And all with no chance of catching S-C-2

And still managed to keep on top of all my workload by spreading it across the day rather than a normal 10-12hr block.

Our company has now shifted greatly towards tech for operational rigour and I can essentially operate from anywhere Corona Virus That’s a silver lining in all of this.

Ok then Mr Tombs, when you have a couple of hours I can use your services. Not as varied as your list but probably just as easy/messy.
