    Regards,
    Tote
Had a telehealth consult with my doctor this morning to get the results of followup echo and calcium tests after my recent heart attack.
Telehealth is a great system. No need for me to physically visit the doctor in this case, as a five minute chat did the job.
Must be a great benefit to so many people, particularly those who are not mobile or remote.
Minister Hunt said he hopes telehealth will become permanent on Medicare and I strongly support him on that. Hope it happens.

Jesus Rick! You wouldn't think we all lived in the same country would you?

I read where AP travelled within Q while going against her own advice to the residents & attended some do while apparently showing symptoms & not staying put. The old "One Rule for ............... blah blah blah"

Firebomber demo in Bundaberg I thing it was.

I like Glad, she seems to have her head screwed on the right way. You could be in worse hands Rick.

I suspect your Northern Neighbor may be taking a holiday soon anyway.

How does that work on the blower? One aspect of Good Medical care is the GP being able to see & if necessary touch you when you walk in the door to know if you are going to drop dead or live.

Questions are one thing (we did this recently) but a proper diagnosis takes eyesight & whatever else.

Don't tell me you have to make an appointment? That'll get abused for sure.

    Hi,
I used Tele health to renew a prescription. Brilliant!
Rang for a time slot, emailed in a week's blood pressure graph, answered and asked a few questions and had the script printed out at the chemist.
WAY more efficient for that sort of intermediate appointments.
    Cheers

Are you rigged up with a Monitor to get that graph?

I agree with your sentiments. However many cases are not clear cut and many have had no option to remain overseas.

The biggest issue is the Governments restriction on arrivals per week (4000) and specific restrictions in each international arrival city. Because of this aircraft can only carry a small proportion of their passenger load so airlines want to maximise their return on the trip are only offering Business and First Class fares and no economy so pricing is out of reach of many people - many people who had booked in economy are being bumped off the aircraft unless they pay rip off prices - London to Sydney has seen airfares of $25000 in some instances.

Why not call it for what it is?.. Gouging. I hope future travelers have very long memories & remember the Greed of these Airlines. I guess so long as Executive Staff & Shareholders are happy that is the main thing to top up their Bonuses. NOT.

She only had a cough after returning from the event. And the test was negative.
