AZ medical advice has just gone out the window - According to ABC News this morning, ALL adults are now able to get AZ vaccine, if you trust the ‘health advice’...

Anyone can now go to their GP and request the AstraZeneca vaccine

AstraZenenca can now be requested by anyone under 40 in major change to vaccine program - ABC News
All good, I've already had my 1st dose of AZ... the day before they raised the age restriction to 60. I am fine with having AZ and am happier for having it.
    Cheers,

Cheers. I’m peeved because I need to travel OS for work and AZ is not recognised in USA. If I’d waited a week I could have had Pfizer, but now I’m told I can’t because I had AZ even though I’m eligible FOR Pfizer at 51 !!

All my relatives in England (dozens of them) have had AZ as has my brother and Mum so I’m not concerned at all about having that instead of Phizer
Having started with AZ, I'll complete the course as recommended but intend to get Pfizer(or what ever mRNA vax is recommended) next year to get the best of both.
    Cheers,

That is a bugger! That timing does suck big time. I have to admit I had a twinge of "doh" after Pfizer was announced for below 59 the day after my AZ vax. I think the US are playing silly buggers with not recognising AZ especially for international travellers.
    Cheers,

Have you not yet realized that a BIG proportion of these Fauci-Flu shenanigans is all about the $quillions to be made, today ans Tomorrow ???

AZ is not a Yankee owned company, the other two are.... Go figure.

    - You WANT a Yellow Fever, Rabies, or Spon Plague VACCINATION because.......- getting thus jabbed you will NOT get those diseases....
So why do we suddenly WANT a covid jab that according to it's makers, will NOT,, that is, NOT prevent you from getting it.... only a milder version ????? (not often 'arguing for a negative'... is accepted as valid argument)

Well, hullo lockdown. Went out to get essential supplies, 2 cartons should do. The local Dan Murphy's has all tills manned, ready for the mad rush. Makes the toilet roll frenzy look like a school picnick. Some real desperate characters have been forced out of their caves , wild eyed and manic looking. And that's just the women.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Not sure really what you're saying here - that AZ is the only vax that will prevent severe symptoms - that's what they all do and none of them are perfect nor is ANY vaccine 100% effective.

Given that shops are still open even in a lockdown I have no idea why ANYONE rushes out when a lockdown is announced - even if it's a day I'd normally go to the shops, I'll wait a few days then go when it's much quieter and the nutjobs have all barricaded themselves inside with their toilet rolls.

I dont think that is correct - the USA has not as yet approved the use of AZ in the US in their vaccination programme but I believe they recognise it as a valid Vaccine that other countries have authorised. Dont be confused by the two scenarios.
