That was my thing, but I called around a couple of clinics and found one who had a shipment coming "the week of the 18th", so I was guaranteed a shot on the 26th.

For pretty much everything else herd immunity counts, but this is looking "a bit different".

I've spoken to a number of vaccinated people who are keen to "just get on with it, and if you're not vaccinated it's your own fault if you get it and die". I'm not quite sure how it's going to work out, but the attitude concerns me.

I'm a bit concerned by what I'm seeing out of NSW, but I I saw the "media vs reality" in Vic last year so I'm inclined to watch it with a bag of salt. I'm sure people will get it together eventually.

I finally have an appointment, so I'm looking forwards to the extra 5G interactive supplementation I'll get from the "Gates foundation" implant I'll apparently be getting.
I think I see the main area difference - we could not move out side 5km for almost anything.

NSW has for sports "Stay within your local government area or within 10km of your home"

My old base at Watson's Bay would almost be at the edge of Sydney Central for the 10km rule! That's silly I think. The 5km or closest shop was reasonable here in Vic. A run from Watto bay to the City would have me passing almost a million people!

From Watson bay shopping would be Bondi, Bondi Junction Rose bay.......... if needed. Noting as well for exercise- a run up old south head road from Watto Bay was steep enough to be HIT exercise plus negating the need to run on to Bondi Beach except for a Swim when I was having fun there

So, now it's the medical communities fault. No surprise that the PM has blamed the medical experts for the slow roll out.

Hi Tote. right Now I agree with the nurse. I you got a AZ today and the 2nd in 12 weeks your really covered only after Wednesday 6th of October. ( I think it might be a few weeks after that)

If you got dose 1 Pfizer 1 Sept and 2nd 22 September you would be possibly better covered. Unless in a hot zone I think the advice the nurse gave is possibly the current medical advice.

Big assumption calling anything I waffle about "professional insight"

Worked out those dates for a mate on the phone a few hours ago.

I checked "Individuals may not be fully protected until 7-14 days after the 2nd dose of AZ or Pfizer "

Is it true? How long does it take to have immunity after vaccination? | Australian Government Department of Health

Not China yet. They have all the gear and little idea. But they are learning quick. But then so are the Yanks, at long last.
