Mr McGowan has continually and childishly bagged the eastern states response, he did the same with Vic and Qld when it has escaped.
He 'offered' advice on how to handle hotel quarantine, until of course it escaped hotel quarantine in Perth, then he was strangely muted fur quite a while.

Stones and glass houses comes to mind.

    I'm just glad that;
    a) in not the one making decisions that affect millions of people
b)'I'm not in a lockdown zone (yet)

[Edit] the other thing that's annoying is the free pass given by the Murdoch media to the NSW govt atm (except by Sky News Wally's) and yet they bagged the hell out of the Vic Govt response.
That just fans the flames of parochialism.
And generates page hits and $$ Corona Virus

Tasmania is Liberal, was the first state to shut its borders back in March 2020, and has been closed for most of the time since. Same with SA. I don't think this is about politics, it just seems to be NSW vs every other state.

    TAS ?

NSW ? (Guessing from Mark's kind komments that it's 'Liberal'... with the army deployed to keep the people petrified...)

    SA ?

    QLD?

That's a relief then. Still a bastard of a time, worrying about our loved ones.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Now is the time to put all that behind us, and stick together. It's almost like being at war, in a sense. I'm sure some old diggers would disagree, but during war we seem to come together as one. Mostly.

Armidale/the New England is in lockdown from today, does that sound like the NSW State govt is letting it run?

The WA Premier has continually lobbed verbal grenades at the eastern States to improve his standing with his own constituents. (and was strangely quiet when C19 escaped Perth quarantine hotels)

It's politics at its basest, nothing more.
Yes and which jurisdiction has the lowest vaccination rate - if Macca isn't careful his State will be left behind when Covid settles down and WAustralians are banned from travelling because they are not vaccinatated.

Yes and if the NSW outbreak had occured in WA cases would be far far worse than they are in NSW. A news report a few days back with WA medical staff highlighted that the WA system is barely coping on a day to day basis let alone if a major Covid outbreak occurred. Compounding this is WA is the least vaccinated state - they really need to pull their finger out instead of pointing it every where else.

Article in the paper said if no one is there, its OK,but cant find that ruling on the website anywhere.

So we havent been there, dont want to risk a hit to the pocket.

Not that it can do much good Paul but I can really sympathise with your predicament.

For me, I wouldn't be game to leave here in case I got locked out. It happens so suddenly. Hey that would be ok, someone else can cut the lawns.

Thanks a bunch bob, no grass growing here but if you really really need some I think I may be able to lay my hands on some. For a mate.
