That makes him a bit of a Show-off & it would pay to stay well clear of blokes exposing themselves & making ****ing their DAKS actions just in case he was just putting on an act to create a bit of mischief.

For your mate that deals with Asbestos using them for that role they'll do SFA unless he's breathing out Asbestos fibres and his mask is protecting me. I've posted this before, but it's worth posting again.

Asbestos Old Mate was recounting 'history' and progress, changes etc etc. - Long left the job due to KNOWING too much. Pointed out that 'fibres' are the main perceived danger, (a fibre being longer than wide...) whereas the worst is diced fibres or 'dust' where lengh and width are similar. THEN, filter aperture is the defining number. Surgical face nappy can take out lots of long fibres.... Fails to stop round bits.

When driving a sweeper - chook sheds and multi-storey car parks, - NO cheap-ish filter worked, including nose/mouth "dust" masks with cartridges... ONLY a $$$$ 3M full-face with finest cartridges. THAT kept out dust and most importantly, odour.
After a few hours in the 'nure,,, one understood shaving every morning was a Good Ideal. Morning stubble was enough to make a differance !

Like wearing a SCUBA set-up, Full Face respirators on trains attract attention...

But final word for experts, those who keep people alive, or kill them if they get it Wrong.

Interesting observation:- Before SARS-Cov. 2019, Masking Studies were done every now and then, most showing ambivalent or low benefit - but not pushed as we don't want to rock Tradition, and there's no hidden agendas in play....

Now, there's been several, all "showing" great value.... pushed onto the public ... 'cos it fits the current sub-narratives.

Naturally, between coughing fits,,, I tell them about my job cleaning on a COVID ward...

But you shouldn't face a mirror when hiding your mush.

Covid has gone through home, dad brought it home from work, he was extremely unwell. I caught it a few days later, my sister a few after me. Mum sick but all her tests and pcr tests negative even though she's been home for 2 weeks almost and only around covid.
I never want it again.

My second grand son caught it of the kid he sits next to the buss to high school , was double vaccinated so was not too bad , whole family had to stay home for the week & luckily none of the four others in the house caught it off him . Came out of quarantine just in time for school holidays.
