    Ranga,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm happy to have which ever unit is easier and more convenient for you.

    Cheers,
    Terry

Unfortunately all the units I've just ordered are spoken for. I'm concerned about attracting import duty if I order too many, so that will be the last order for me for a little while until I work out how many I can import before being slugged for duty.

Therefore, it might be best for you to order your own, and either get me to send you the files you need and follow the tutorial yourself, or send the GPS to me and I'll do it for you. It's a bugger as this will cost a little more in shipping and take a little longer, but the last thing I need is to be slugged with import duty - however much that is!

I simply use the supplied bracket that uses a suction cap to attach to the windscreen.

How is the reception on this GPS? have you used an external antenna with this at all?

Ranga, thanks again for putting up this post. Received my unit yesterday, delivered in 10 days to regional NSW from ordering. Loaded up the "new" skin and GPS menu as well as OziExplorer and a HEMA map with a little frustration while I got used to Windows CE etc. Had an issue with the power off/resume function until I discovered the reset button near the SD card slot that powers it down, all working as I want it now. Yet to load a map for "city' driving and to check that navigation mode out. I've been using/testing GPS systems for 20 years or so, very impressed with the startup time and quick acquisition of the satellites.
    regards

The one originally mentioned, ie the one with the slower processor. Works fine with OziExplorer and Hema maps. I have no intention of using it to play video etc so doubt the faster processor unit would make much difference for me.
    regards
