I'm not sure, but I don't think so. It's more for use as a hands-free device for your bluetooth phone.

I ordered 7 of the slower units last night. So far, I've had only a couple of requests for one of these since requesting everyone send me a new PM a few days ago.

So, if anyone wants one of these let me know. They should arrive in a couple of weeks.

To avoid me paying import duty, I might need you all to order your own unit and forward it on to me. I'll let you know if this is the case when I can confirm it.

By the way, if anyone wants to look at one of these in the flesh before committing, they're more than welcome. PM me to arrange a time.

I've got one of these GPS bought under another name but i think that its the same,a radio tramsmitter built intoo. Just wondering though do u put the Ozi maps onto the SD card on straight onto the unit through the usb input?
i'm very interested in learning how to do so.
my problem now though is where to mount in the Defender. as the new centre stereo unit takes up a lot of space and no chance that it'll fit on the windscreen

Are you a memeber of LROC Brisbane? if so maybe you could bring your unit to the meeting next week? i'm new to the landy Community here
    thanks

The Ozi maps stay on the SD card, as does the OziCE application (and new menu files, and any other software you might want to add).

I'm not a member yet, but have been meaning to join up, so I'll try and get to the next meeting. If I do go, I'll bring one of the GPS untis along for people to look at.

Anyone is always welcome to come and have a look here at my house. I'm on holidays this week, but after that anytime during the week after about 7.30pm is fine.

Got mine today, not bad considering it came from Hong Kong and I only ordered it last tuesday night.

Seems to work OK, I am inside the house and it's still picking up 5 satellites. Will give it a run over the next few days and when I get a chance will sort out a time with ranga and he can work his magic on it.

Amazing thing is, I've worked as a Courier for 14 years now and this is the first time I've touched a in-car gps unit.

New toy for me to play with.
