Hpfp fault also cascades into gearbox F and dropped suspension for the full terror experience. You certainly don’t seem to see this issue commonly on the 3.0 models.
Sad for the OP but just because you spent 11k you still have all the regular gotcha issues to face on a 10 year 200km car with a replacement price north of $100k including cracked manifolds and turbo actuators
Hopefully something simple. I suspect he doesn’t have a GAP tool so if he could find someone nearby to get the full codes it may help have a better discussion with Rovertech on next steps.

Test the LP side now. Quite simple.

Super Moderator**** **** **** **** ****. I knew this day would come. Round trip to Albany. Pulling onto the Tonkin and accelerate in third and get the *flare*. Clutch is ****ed. It's letting go on the torque peak between about 1900 and 2400 RPM under full load.
Damn it! 10 years ago I'd have put it up on the stands and done it in the driveway, but these days I'm just too ****ing old to be bench pressing a gearbox on the driveway. I'll have to phone around and get quotes to have it done.
Not a major, major job. But still drop the TC and box. Not sure if I need to replace the flywheel and release bearing, but from what I've read it's a good idea. So not a slushbox refurb $$, but still not going to be cheap.

Found part of the problem .. After trying to look for what sounded like a exhaust manifold leak I took the rubber cover off the intake manifold for a better view of where the sound was coming
from it turns out not to be the manifold gasket but the rear injector leaks badly which explains possibly why when I started the car it puffed smoke out the exhaust for about 10 seconds .
I havent done the low fuel pressure test yet but will leave that up to Rover tech once he calls me back . Hoping that it is covered under warranty as they replaced the manifolds and injector seals.

Super ModeratorOuch, $1750 from Advanced factors for the flywheel, clutch and release bearing/piston.
Had a bit of a look at one of those "rent a host" places and reckon with a hoist and transmission jack for a day I could manage it.
The transfer case is about 42kg and the gearbox is 57kg. I reckon with the right tools I can do that.
I'm still going to get some estimates to get it done, but the parts are getting harder to find, especially here where they aren't particularly common.
