They are 18x8.5 +42 offset. Not sure they would clear Brembos although I’m confident they will clear the 3.0l brakes - I’m hoping to try them on Basil135s 3.0 D4 soon.

In some states they aren’t legal but ok in SA.

Thanks Tombie. Should be OK in Vic also on an MC. If you try them on a 3.0 could you maybe take a couple of measurements from disc face to the back of the spokes and also radially to the rim? I think the disc rotor is the same ~360mm (?) So could guesstimate from there.... maybe. There has to be other, decent quality options in 18" out there.

In the meantime I may get my Compo spare digitally scanned and create a profile from that as a known go-gauge. Hmmmm. Might get the front brakes scanned in place , too and create a swept clearance profile. You've got me thinking now.... Mate of mine has the gear.

Would you mind sharing the approx cost for a set of those?

I haven't seen it heard anything new since this popped up several months ago. I pinged them back then but no response. No details either. Will they clear the Brembos (their steels don't)? Will they take standard center caps and nuts? How will they be priced? Etc. They are an absolute dead ringer for another aftermarket wheel so I suspect there is some "reprofiling" happening of that existing wheel for suitability on our challenging platforms... Pure conjecture on my part, of course.

I just can't consider the Moabs due to their lower grade manufacturing yet Compo-level pricing. And no-one has confirmed they'll clear the Brembos. Hopefully TuffAnt will do a truly credible alternative that is priced appropriately. Cast alloy wheels are ridiculously cheap to make if you can get some volume. They should be cheaper than the steels.

The rear wheel cover looks like a good thing. The rim/s look great. I got some second hand compomotives, but wishing now I hadn't if these are an option!!

Got away camping for a few days at Rubicon Victoria.

Hi Tombie. Love the wheels you have there. Noticed the Falkens they are shod with. Have ordered a set to go on tomorrow in 265 60 18's. The tyre guy said they are very popular at the moment with a lot of sales. Looking forward to trying them out.
