Took an hour or so, and the usual loss of a bit of skin and blood. Happy with the result, and more importantly, so is SWMBO.
Is that a 50L? I have the CFX50 and would be great to confirm fit before I pull out the seats. Thanks!

Replaced the tailgate struts as was hitting my head on the sagging upper door when open. Now the tailgate has some real kick when it opens - almost knocked me out the first time I tried it out. What happened to your D3/D4 today?

I just went with a cheap set from e-Bay from a local seller - brand is A-Premium and the set included tailgate and bonnet struts.

Haven’t fitted the bonnet struts yet.

I got these OEM Stabilus struts recently from the UK, about $40 more than the A-Premium ones (sorry, just noticed you were referring to bonnet struts). 2x Stabilus Rear Boot Tailgate Gas Strut Spring 348705 - GENUINE - 5 YR WARRANTY | eBay

Just had a set custom made to suite my tailgate with the ProSpeed ladder. We added an extra 5mm to the length and upped the gas to 590N as opposed to the standard 480N. $110 all up. I feel a group buy coming on...
