Mine is a 2007 D3 on original struts. 272,000 km

No leaks on mine just wallows badly on the road, you can tell when going over a speed hump.

Just drive and let the computer tell me it’s overheating on the dash. I have a GAP tool but honestly, if the temps got high, I’m not going to pull over and nurse it if the ECU doesn’t think the temps are an issue. Most people will not agree with me but hey What happened to your D3/D4 today?

I use a Scanguage 11 which gives auto oil temp plus whatever you wish other than EGT.

I just use my Gap IID for auto temp. Only bother monitoring the temps when towing as they generally stay well under control without the trailer attached.

What happened to your D3/D4 today?

Outback Discovery are you on Aulro?

Interesting yours is a spring version non TR Disco and I’m not sure that’s explained well as the more unusual version. You notice the no TR difference and lack of clearance in the Bornholm Beach video. Nice video.

Split drivers side manifold last week, car at 204000km. No pops, bangs or explosions, just fault code and tell tale oil line on the underside of engine cover. Had both replaced, 8h labour and parts including new inlet o ring seals and all gaskets, a shade ove 2k drive in and out. The drivers side one was split vertically from where it meets the head to middle top edge of the manifold, about 100mm long.
