Looking for a working but old Hitachi to rebuild.

I also removed the air tank was as new. Interestingly there’s one line in and out to the tank.

Good practice ripping apart a wreck. Especially when you can cut the air hoses.

Is there much interior trim left in that? I could do with a few replacement parts for mine.

It’s a lot easier to remove things when you can be destructive to surrounding parts. Quite therapeutic actually.

Does anyone have an old Hitachi compressor surplus to needs?
Actually off the interior is D4 grey, I might be interested in a cargo area from

Hmmm... does the steering wheel have the radio controls on it?

Got the nearly bald scorpion zeros replaced with the second hand Verdes I bought on here a while ago. Added blue tooth tyre pressure monitors to test.
Would like to use them on the boat trailer more then the car.

Put the Tuffants on and loaded the roof for a beach trip.

Booked in for the valve body rebuild on the trans next month.. Getting it vac tested before and after just to identify what was going on if anything.

Will be replacing front LCA bushes when valve body is out. They are well worn.

Going to replace the AC valve aswell.. The cooling delay is getting annoying now.. It's not cheap $246 for a valve!

Interestingly had my valve replaced and still have delayed cooling. I’m thinking of replacing my thermo fan as it currently clicks etc. I wonder if it’s a lack of air flow???? No idea

I chucked the gauges on mine. I'm low pressure with low cooling.. Once the compressor ramps up is nice.
I wonder if your delayed cooling is triggered elsewhere, like ambient air temps incorrect? Have you got a throttle booster thingy?

I do but it needs a new piston, piston bearing and a new bore. The motor was working fine but I've honestly no idea how much it has worn. Its yours if you want it though!

parts are $179 per side for rods and ends, say 2 hours of labour to fit.

I'm getting all 4 airstruts replaced at same time plus new tyres, Pirelli Scorpion Zeros so expect it to feel and drive a lot better.

Peter, can you tell me where you're getting your air struts from please, mine are due (air bags fine, but shocks inside are getting on...)

Roughly when are the airbags due for replacement? Mine is a 2013 with 180k on it. It rides fine but I’ve noticed a very slow leak when the back is loaded overnight
