Haven’t figured out what to put in the compartment to the right of the DB yet.
I cut out the floor in front of the DB and on the other side and you can fit 2 x 20l jerry cans for water in there. At least you can in a 5 seater.

    Hi Rod
Doesn’t show it here but I removed the back seats to free up the lower rear space and have 2 x 40L inbuilt water tanks with pump below the drawers.

It’s still a work in progress but possibly thinking of putting a first aid kit & EPRB in that area ..

Not that I own one but went to the Royals Royce car club “show & tell” meet which was great - wish we had a local Land Rover “show us your rig” day to plagiarize / share good ideas..

Upper tailgate door, Weak actuator, retrofit old bicycle brake cable for emergency release.

Fleabay Ford C-Max actuator common part has arrived. Too cheap I got a spare $15ea.

Excellent work, just watch your weight now on the rear axle.

Hey Imaz, that looks interesting. Was your tailgate showing signs of weakening? Also, please can you share the link or part number for the ebay one? I tried searching but couldn't find it. Cheers.

Yes, mine started to give me grief of a failing/weak latch opening. Every so often I had to wiggle the door while I press the button to open the upper tail gate.

When it did open, I spared no moment and opened up the trims leaving it bare while I got the parts.

Nice, thanks for the info. At least it gave you some sort of warning it was on its last legs. Backup pull cable is also good reassurance if it fails again.

LRP sell the recliner chair pull release kit, but at this stage, I’m not willing to cut the carpet.
