    Compressor Replacement

    Today the new compressor for my Disco 4 arrived from the UK and at long last I have a vehicle that is displaying no faults.

    I hope this is now time to stop throwing parts at this vehicle and commence to drive and enjoy it.

    What happened to your D3/D4 today?

    Fitted a set of Stedi reversing lights. Max power they had at 1000 lumen.

    Waiting for nighttime so I can blind the neighbourhood.

    Won't be disappointed DJ, I will look out for the bright glow from the northern horizon, probably be news reports of a new southern Aurora Borealis....

    Gave the 3.0 an ‘in between’ service. The Indy that we use has reverted to servicing every 26,000km instead of a more regular schedule. Can’t quite work out why they would do that. I’m really familiar with the D2 TD5 but having sold it a few years ago, this is my 1st time servicing for the 3.0 at home. All went well. I can’t believe how easy it is to change the fuel filter!

    Well surely you can just take it in for an oil change anytime you want if you so desire? Would they refuse you?

    Where is it on the 3.0? On the 2.7 you'd need to have done at least a year of pre-med Gynecology to get to it.
