    yes thanks most of it is there got a good a good fire wall about 4 traybacks not much rust only a bit on one of the crossmembers but bought a mig welder today to help do any repairs but at the moment the only things i need are instrament panel and instraments steering wheel carby and maybe lights if any one has any of these parts or any other parts they would like to sell im always on the search for them

    hey your avatar is of the ist land rover nice pic and yeah i thought for $4oo i couldnt go wrong even though its gonna cost me alot more then that im thinking og galvanising the chassis any one got any opinions on that

    The 80 on the left (naf green steering wheel) looks like a wide transom model which makes it fairly early (49 - 50). Has it got fishtail chassis mounts on the front bumper (shaped wider at the front) and a ring pull transfer case. It would have been a lights behind grill model. Have a search round for a thread i did on Massey Ferguson tractor lights as replacements. Any chance of a chassis number (engine mount passenger side) or a A & T plate photo.

    it doesnt have a ring pull on it and the guy that we bought them off said he checked the chassis numbers and they both are 53s

    Let us know the chassis numbers and we can tell for sure, they definitely look earlier though.

    Heres a piccy that shows some of what i was talking about. Its a 49 model and things to note are the shape of the grill panel set up for the headlights behind the grill and the lack of factory door handles on the outside. You can also see the fishtail bumper mounts at the end of the chassis. Looking at the one of yours with the green wheel it seems to have the same grill panel. Does yours also have the park lights on the bulkhead just below the windscreen.
