    Re latch mounting bracket my feeling is that you would be able to force the pin square with a piece of pipe or such, this would distort the bracket but would be unnoticeable.

    There is a fair bit of adjustment in the locking plate to radiator support panel but pin needs to be square.

    Looking at some of my bonnets LR had a few options for mounting locking pin

    All lean ????
    Within LR's 1/4 inch tolerances.

    $6 per metre.



    Had to grind off lips, on the doors and tailgate. Easy to replace and fit.
