Fitted an intercooler. Took a bit of fiddling, I reckon 10 hours work. Still, for less than $200 all up, that works out at $100 an hour saved on buying one that fits up off the shelf.

Great number plate, and that looks like a very neat installation. From what I can see of the engine bay, it looks pretty tidy too. Any other engine mods, and if not, will you be doing any, to take advantage of the intercooler? Couldn't find any images of your Landrover...could you put up a few?

Thanks, this is my second Landie ( as in I have two) and its been in my garage for 97% of the time I bought it. Plenty of photo's of my tray back, hardly any of this one - yet. I'm getting it 100% for when I retire & it will be my daily driver.

New Viscous fan, water pump, thermostat, header tank, cap & fan belt.
New AMF Cylinder head ( was over pressurising the cooling system - hence the above work- - got suckered from where I bought it.
EGV bypass valve
Exhaust manifold skimmed & enlarged stud holes - new studs
Hatch for fuel pump
Enlarged toolboxes under the seats and dual batteries
Modified cargo barrier- removes in 1 minute.
Rear wheel carrier
Mulgo box
Cibie headlights & IPF driving lights
Checkerplate bonnet & guards
Soundproofing
Low water & engine guard alarm
Exhaust temp gauge
Snorkel
Disco Handbrake lever
Disco transfer box for better cruising RPM
Offset wheels from Eastern wheel works

Existing
Maxi axles & hubs
Front diff guard
ARB bulbar
Chipped ECU
Maxi steering arm
New harmonic balancer

Work in progress
Mud console with 3 oil temp gauges ( engine gearbox & transfer)
Boost gauge
Oil pressure
Possibly 2x volt gauges for the batteries
9500lb winch with synthetic rope

Down the track
New radiator
Diff lock - maxi if I can afford it.
Long range tank - if one comes up on Ebay

Once the boost gauge is in I'll twiddle it a bit
She goes like stink - better than my Chev 350 equipped tray.

I finally sourced a replacement LH headlight for my new(-ish) Disco today.
Will fit it once it arrives via Aust Post.

Walked past the S3 in rebuild yesterday, just shook my head at the amount of work still to be done.

Well not today - but w/e - straightened bent track rod and draglink.... (The holes in the rear cross member are very handy).
