Put the battery chager on her as it has been weeks since I have had a chance to take her for a run and she it as flat as a tac (well nearly)
Replaced the injector seals on the Disco and gave it an oil change.
Hopefully I'll now get my fuel consumption back to a reasonable figure and stop the engine oil being diluted with diesel.![]()

Hi All
A couple of chaps from Bruny Island came up today to my place, had a look at the set of new parabolic springs that I had been saving for one of my projects.
A price was agreed on and the parabolics have now gone.

Successfully buggered the headlights on the D2 after dropping a wire onto the positive battery terminal during install of spotlight relays...then spent 2+ hours in the shed (currently 3 degrees in there) trying to work out what has gone bust.
continued to try and clean the sand and salt off/out of the rangie following its beach holiday
Oh and put the battery charger on the fender so I can hopefully move it out of the garden where I left it before going to above mentioned beach holiday![]()

G'day All, I drove my 110 Isuzu for the first time in over 4 months, it has had a full engine rebuild after a catastrophic engine failure (No 1 piston) gee it was a good feeling driving it home, cheers Dennis![]()

I finally got really stuck in on cleaning up that chassis....plans have vacillated between wire brushing, home sandblasting, getting it blasted professionally.... Finally settled on a plan: Paint stripper, followed by wire brush on grinder and finished with a home blasting kit. Actually works quite well, and I now have a handful of hundreds of dollars which I haven't spent on sandblasting to.... hmmmm....dunno..... I guess to spend on other Land Rovery things...
I'll post an update on the project on the IIA forum sometime soon(ish)...
Pulled out contaminated injector harness and flushed main harness with metho again. Went and bought high temp RTV sealant to seal up new gaps for new one when it arrives.
