Fitted new headlight globes on the D3 and discovered I've got previews connections for some spotties.. So I fitted those too!
Removed the roof console to fit my old UHF for a upcoming trip. Found more poor wiring from the previous owner.
Removed both "A" pillar trims and glued the tweeter in and the plastic is cracked on both of them.
Happy Days

Now to soak in a shower, band-aid up the cuts and scratches, and plot the murder of a few Td5 engineers....

Hey all,
Was busy on dads D3 last week.
Fitted a Water Watch in the engine bay, which wasn't too hard.
Then removed the EGR's and blanked them off. Fiddly but quite doable. One of the blanking plates required some grinding to make it fit flush.
Then installed the GOE emergency EAS kit.
For those doing this, if you have an ARB bull bar then you don't need to remove the front right wheel or wheel arch liner.
Just remove the lower right guard from the bull bar and the front valve block is right there.
Also, if you have a long range tank in place of the spare wheel then running the rear air lines will be more difficult.
And if you have a Kamar rear bar then it is going to be difficult to run the air lines over the rear cross member.
We ended up running both the rear left and rear right air lines up behind the rear left tail light.
Now his car is having the tranny re built before their trip up the Cape.
Cheers
Will
