Forgive the Hex Bolts, I'm still waiting on my Button Head bolts to arrive and will switch them over then.
Tonight I removed the front drivers door trim to find out why the window only went up 3/4 of the way before jamming on something .
I discovered that the bottom rail is bent and twisted on the window runner.
I have never seen this on a car before !

I think ;)
Fairly common. I bent up new ones to match and siliconed the glass in ..change the scissor lift rollers while there ..replacement from hardware..I.e sliding door rollers
Fitted HID Hi/low head light inserts.
Very impressed with the results.
Took a little longer to install than last vehicle due to the battery location.
Tested it last night with no oncoming traffic flashing me, so thats a good thing. There is a clean cut line of light low on the road. no big flash of light that i have experienced from other installs. high beam light is awesome.
Cheers

Attachment 80032Attachment 80033Put a hella plug and marine cig lighter plug in the rear of my d2 for my fridge etc and wired it all my 6mm cable down to then engine fuse box take off points. Love working on the reverse tardis...so much room between inner and outer skins for wiring.
Cheers
Chops
I imported a set from China, no brand on them

Got all the cabling run through the glands and also got the Exbox built up component wise. I have 6 glands on the battery box now for power feeds out to the winch, neg, alternator and to the ex box - just have to crimp them up and finish with the exbox.
Also got the rear diff back in. The pattern looks perfectly centered on the teeth however the backlash is .43mm which is roughly double what it should be from the specs. The vehicle is having a Eaton E-locker put in and a complete rebuild at the same time in the next 3-6 weeks so I am not too worried. Essentially, the diff will only be needed to get the vehicle into the shop for the work.
Removed the fuel cooler to replace the "O" rings. Dismantled it and cleaned ready for assembly tomorrow. Got home today about 7.30 pm, had tea and went to put battery charger on as engle is currently running on freeze on the starting battery.
I then thought I would access the job for tomorrow and ended up removing it.
Along the way I stabbed my wrist a beauty on the hard plastic overflow pipe that LR kindly cut at a 45 degree angle and I am sure they then sharpened it.
