Slapped a deposit on a '99 Defender 110 [smilebigeye]

Got it off eBay.

Good price.
Still need to adjust the positioning.
Well whilst not really today, more as in the past week :)
So inspired, it was onwards and upwards (downwards?) to replace the hoses and thermostat and coolant  Man! 2 days later I emerged from the jungle! An "interesting" escapade! With out some fore site in purchasing 1 of those remote hose clip thingy pliers Id still be there! And the "secret Hose" needing the rebuilding of the turbo heat shield along the way!
At least the system is in good order with no corrosion anywhere on spigots or outlets :) The downside is that the new thermo runs at 85-6 now instead of the old 82-3 :O No problems bleeding it, just followed Blacknights procedures, all good.
Now I find the swivel ball joints need replacing! :( Ahh JOY!
Cheers Scott
Got the rideon mower stuck down the riverbank at the bottom of the block, the Defender will be brought into action to winch it out and will this drama end with the rideon being able to cut tall grass ever again?
Watch this thread for another exciting update as this drama of a rideon being rescued by the Defender unfolds!

Thanks Warren. I've Always been wary of ebay light bars. How does the quality of the product seem?
looks ok.
The main housing is extruded aluminium with a massive heat sink extruded into the back. the protective screen is polycarbonate. Had the option of buying one with glass instead, but was wary of stones thrown up from other vehicles.
The unit itself weighs approx. 5-7kgs so is very substantial.
The mounting is solid and once bolted to my bar has absolutely no movement in any direction.
