Removed the original centre box and rear muffler from the D1 300TDI and replaced with the nice two piece straight through and rear box from Paddocks. Purchased whilst in the UK, and nicely shipped back from there by work Nice little rumble to her now

Went 4 wheel driving in the Glasshouse Mountains, bent my steering arm.
Took it off and bashed it back straight-ish. Good excuse for some nice, shiny, heavy duty ones i think!

Did I mention that we did a lot of work on Matt's car on Saturday??. Sunday I repainted and fitted the under side plate to the passenger side guard and fitted a retaining plate to the middle seat and then said "STUFF IT! I'm going for a ride on the bike", 400km later, and lunch with SWMBO at a nice little country pub, the heads all clear again!
    BIG thanks Ian.
The last few days I have: Got the headlights working (broken cable), wondered why the hell the indicators have stopped working?? and replaced the front nearside indicator - which may have something to do with it! Had a broken valve stem replaced on one of the Sunraysia rims, so they're going on as I bleed the brakes.
Got Tuesday off so plan to do some more then.

Replaced 1 thermo fan. One to go when I get it.
Replaced fuel pump / sender harness. Had a dodgy wire in the replacement so made one good harness out of 2. Easy job... only took about 2 hours to diagnose and repair.
Replaced part of 3 door rubbers. Too poor to get complete rubbers so just replaced the bottom part which gets trod on / kicked / damaged.

    Still more to be done.

Got indicators again - think I've got front parkers too. One works, anyway.
Went to bleed the brakes (at last) only to find that I have 6cyl. (I think) brakes that someone appears to have put on sideways - the cylinders are top & bottom - guess where the bleed nipple is?

    Hi

I would simply reverse bleed your brakes, its a lot more successful getting air out of the lines doing it that way.

A yes, few minutes work to move the orientation of the cylinders around.

    Cheers Arthur
