Decided it was time for new radiator hoses and a change of coolant.
So new bottom hose, new expansion tank, new bypass hose, new thermostat. Then decided I had gone this far, removed the radiator to get it cleaned/rodded, so I'll have to drop it somewhere tomorrow.
Everything was nice and clean though, no sign of any corrosion, except some slight pitting under the hoses on the outside of the thermostat/top hose. Happy with that, the thermostat itself looks brand new, no sign of any rot in the radiator fins.
15yo not too bad

Picked up the radiator today, guys said it was probably 20% blocked, I asked them to close up the hole in the baffle by ~50%.
Now to put it all back in and fill up.

It's only taken me 13 years of owning two D2's that the switches for the front windows are better located near the top of the centre console! Now I can open and close my front windows without moving my arm off the centre console and reaching for the switch below!

Just came inside 9.20 PM, I was installing wheel bearings into a TD5 S/W, but the Bugs and Beetle's beat the best of us and it's still 30 plus at my place.
Cool change due early tomorrow, hope that it doesn't become dry lightening and catch the tinder dry county side alight.
